This position is starting on November 3 (at the latest November 12, 2025).

Duties include (but are not limited to):

Assisting and overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Front Office with a strong focus on maintaining a high level of guest services, room sales and overall profitability.
Handle guest concerns and service recovery, ensuring all guest needs are met promptly and professionally.
To show leadership to the Front Desk staff on duty, overseeing the coaching, developing and performance management of our Front Desk Supervisor and Front Desk Agents.
Organize and lead regular Front Office meetings to communicate updates and priorities.
Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team member for Front Office roles: interviews, and probation reviews for Front Office roles
Efficient scheduling of all Front Office staff, adding schedule to payroll system, approving staff timecards.
Responsible for billing and reconciliation of guest ledger and city ledger accounts.
Perform Revenue Management day-to-day tasks by contributing to monitoring hotel rates, competitors’ rates, reviewing IDeaS RMS forecasts and decisions, apply overrides, and align restrictions as necessary to maximize revenue.
Ensure efficient and accurate use of Oracle PMS and other key tools such as Revinate, TripTease, IDeaS, and others.
Support an inclusive, professional, and team-oriented culture through coaching, recognition, and team-building activities.
Ensure workplace safety and security of all individuals on property by maintaining current knowledge of emergency procedures and acting as the on-scene lead during incidents/crisis.
Support in establishing, implementing and enforcing hotel policies, standards, and SOP compliance at all times.
Maintain clear communication and cooperation with Housekeeping, Reservations, Maintenance, and other departments across the Banff Park Lodge hotel collective.
Work a combination of morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate:

Minimum 1–2 years of hotel front desk or reservations experience required.
Previous supervisory experience is required; previous management experience is considered an asset.
Strong multi-tasking ability with keen attention to detail.
Professional and friendly demeanor both in person and over the phone.
Excellent English communication and comprehension; a second language is an asset.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy.
Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and lead by example.
