Job Description

Are you deeply passionate about health, fitness, and wellness? Join our team at the Fairmont Spa, located within the iconic Fairmont Banff Springs, where you'll have the opportunity to evaluate, educate, and motivate our guests and members in their fitness journeys.

Starting Rate: $21.84 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $28.88.

Job Duties Include:

Lead safe and effective group fitness classes, workshops and outdoor programs as required
Develop and execute safe and effective one-on-one Personal Training programs/sessions as required
Ensure the facility is in peak condition at all times: operations, cleaning and sanitization of all equipment, supplies well stocked

Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

Must have Personal Training certification
Must have current CPR and First Aid training
Degree in kinesiology or other related exercise/fitness degree/diploma an asset
Must have previous experience in personal training and group fitness classes
Must be able to lift/carry 30+lbs and constant standing/walking throughout shift
