Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations.
Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
Assist in meal preparation for special events or large groups as required.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service periods.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods.
Familiarity with food safety standards and practices.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in fast-paced settings.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when required.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
