Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen understanding of food safety practices. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires a commitment to excellence in the kitchen and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members. This is a seasonal position until early October, 2025.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Assist in meal preparation for special events or large groups as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality meals.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Follow all health and safety guidelines while handling food products.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food service best practices.
Skills

Proficient in kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and meal preparation methods.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Experience in the food service industry, preferably within a restaurant or catering environment.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
