Starting Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour


Job Description
Lead and train spa concierge in their areas of responsibility including the promotion of spa services, retail sales and other hotel amenities
Possess thorough knowledge of the booking system so as to maximize room and therapist bookings
Must be proficient with cash handling and opening & closing desk procedures
Inventory control – Assist with inventory purchases and adjustments utilizing Milano software, month end retail inventory counts, orders
Maintain tidy order and cleanliness of entire Spa and Fitness facility including pool, gym, change rooms, bathrooms, workspace and outdoor patio
Guest Tours of the Facility
Assist with spa marketing and promotion
Spa Reception: spa product & service knowledge, bookings & reservations, sales reconciliation & cash-out, inventory control.
Fitness Concierge: monitor pool, gym & fitness area use, pool & hot tub & deck maintenance (may include mopping wet areas), manage squash court usage & skate rentals, cardio equipment knowledge, constant tidy of change rooms & bathrooms.
Maintaining and monitoring fitness memberships. Keeping members informed of upcoming events/promotions
Monitoring Night cleaning and following up with Housekeeping Management
Ensures Health & Safety Awareness.
Assist therapists as required.
Others duties as assigned

Qualifications
Grade 12 or equivalent
Minimum 2 years customer service/retail experience
Supervisory experience an asset
Fluency in second language an asset
CPR and 1st Aid training an asset
Cash handling skills
Ability to work in a team environment and independently
Ability to multitask
Ability to delegate
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
