The Captain server monitors servers, junior servers and hostess’ throughout their shift to ensure standards are met. Duties & Responsibilities Provide table service from start to finish including; taking food and beverage orders, delivery of order and payment procedures. Provide Leadership, Problem Solving and Decision Making in all areas Achieve and/or exceed sales projections Train new serving staff Ongoing training, motivating and monitoring of staff 1 or more supervisory shifts per week Supervise outlet while on shift and report to Supervisor/Manager Supervisor responsibilities during Supervisor/Manager absence Weekly BEO monitoring for product needs and setting Daily communication with manager and supervisor Qualifications Grade 12 or equivalent Post Secondary in hospitality/tourism an asset Alberta Proserve Certification 1-2 years of similar experience Knowledgeable in a variety of liquor and wines Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to multitask and prioritize Additional Information Job Perks & Benefits: Subsidized staff accommodation provided on-site for full time status employees Complimentary meal in our staff cafeteria each shift Access to Employee Travel Program Discounts on hotel Food & Beverage, Spa and Golf Memberships Inclusion & Diversity We want every employee to feel valued, appreciated, and free to be themselves at work and in housing.
