LOOKING FOR AN AMAZING JOB, WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOME AMAZING EVENT OPERATIONS TEAM MEMBERS!

You are a hard-working, quality-driven, creative person looking for an opportunity to use your skills in the exciting event industry. You like working on all of the behind-the-scenes elements that make a fantastic event.

We are looking for a few great people who fit the description above to join our Event Operations team.

From full-service corporate event planning & design, to unique custom weddings and top-quality event rentals; Mountainscape Events, Mountainscape Weddings and Mountain Event Rentals are the premier providers of event-related services in the Rocky Mountain region.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Pre-event packing, prepping orders
Loading/unloading & operating delivery vehicles in a safe, dependable, punctual manner, transporting event equipment to sites
Delivering & setting up event equipment (set decorating) for full room transformations or simple event rental facilitation; this can include specialty decor, chairs, tables, table settings & linens, tents, stages, dance floor and more
Event teardown (strike)
Post-event unpacking, cleaning, repackaging and storing items, checking the quality of event products, securely and safely handling inventory items
Inventory control via accurate paperwork & record keeping to track products as they travel from place to place
Performing other general warehouse tasks, including organizing the facility, & operations-related duties as required
Providing excellent customer service with a courteous demeanour and solutions-focused mindset. This includes presenting yourself in a professional, service-focused manner at all times as you deal with clients, venues and other event vendors
This role includes midweek business hours, scheduled weekend work and late nights / early mornings as the event schedule dictates
REQUIREMENTS

Excellent communication and customer service skills in a team-based environment
Positive, proactive attitude, solving challenges, in a calm professional manner
Previous experience in the event industry or warehousing is an asset
Ability to perform physical tasks, work at heights and lift heavy objects
A clean driving record, at least a Class 5 licence with 3 years of experience. Previous history, driving delivery vehicles is an asset (ie 5-ton trucks, cab-over city delivery trucks, or light & medium duty box trucks)
Class 4 licence or airbrakes endorsement an asset
