Job Summary – Night Janitor (Full-Time / Part-Time) | Banff & Canmore

Mountain Mist Cleaning Solutions is seeking reliable, detail-oriented cleaners to join our team in Banff and Canmore. The position involves cleaning commercial facilities during evening and overnight hours, ensuring all assigned locations are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

Applicants must have their own accommodation in Banff or Canmore and reliable transportation to travel between cleaning accounts. A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle are required.

We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities. This role is ideal for individuals who already have a full-time job and are looking to earn extra income, as well as those seeking a full-time position with a locally operated company.

Responsibilities

Clean commercial facilities, including floors, washrooms, offices, and common areas.
Perform dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, garbage removal, and disinfection.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness across assigned accounts.
Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
Follow established cleaning procedures and workplace safety protocols.
Report maintenance concerns or supply shortages to management.
Travel between assigned cleaning locations as required.
Work independently and complete assigned tasks within scheduled hours.
Qualifications and Skills

Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset.
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
Comfortable performing physical tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
Willing to work evening or overnight shifts, depending on assigned accounts.
Must have accommodation in Banff or Canmore.
Must have a valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
