Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting ongoing operations and future growth. Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately install and troubleshoot electrical systems.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment in industrial or commercial facilities.
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical tasks efficiently and safely.
Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals, then implement effective solutions promptly.
Work on renovation projects by updating or upgrading existing electrical systems to meet current codes and standards.
Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate machinery and processes.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements

Five years experience as a Journeyman/Woman Electrician as well as training and experience as a network technician.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams with confidence.
Hands-on experience with low voltage systems and control wiring is highly desirable.
Familiarity with construction environments, renovation projects, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
Electrical experience involving schematics interpretation, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks is a plus.
Handyman experience or general maintenance skills that support versatile electrical work is advantageous.
Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations.
Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
