JOB TITLE: Insurance Compliance & Training Specialist (Contract)

MUST have Life Insurance License

Location: Remote – Anywhere in Canada

Contract Duration: 6 months

Pay Rate: C$27.35/hour

Job Description / Responsibilities:

Conduct pre- and post-sale insurance business reviews for select independent licensed insurance agents, including new agents, special supervision agents, and agents under investigation
Initiate, review, track, and report client and agent file reviews in compliance with department policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Prepare reports identifying statistics, trends, and training opportunities for field agents
Provide corrective coaching and training to agents to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Escalate issues to management as appropriate
Assist in developing and implementing training materials, including bulletins and webinars
Identify opportunities to improve workflow processes and communications with the field
Participate in departmental projects
Perform periodic field branch audits to ensure adherence to business and regulatory requirements
Qualifications / Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of insurance or financial services industry experience with supervisory/compliance responsibilities
Life Insurance License in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba
Customer- and agent-focused with excellent written and oral communication, presentation, relationship management, and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
