About the Opportunity
IMT Precision has an exciting opportunity for full-time Project Manager – Facility Expansion roles, based in Ingersoll, ON. This role offers flexibility to travel to project sites, vendor locations, and partner facilities as needed throughout the project lifecycle.

Reporting to the President, you will play a pivotal role in leading the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of a new manufacturing facility, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and aligned with IMT’s operational goals.

In this position, you will be primarily responsible for managing all phases of the greenfield facility project, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and implementing best practices to deliver a world-class, efficient, and compliant manufacturing operation.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Leading the end-to-end delivery of the new facility, from concept development through commissioning and handover
Managing third-party contractors, architects, engineers, and construction partners to achieve project milestones
Coordinating with internal engineering, operations, and leadership teams to design efficient workflows and layouts
Monitoring project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely, cost-effective execution
Identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Facilitating communication among stakeholders and providing regular progress reports to senior leadership
Overseeing commissioning activities and ensuring a smooth transition to operations
Driving continuous improvement and applying project management best practices

More About You
To qualify, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, and 7+ years of experience in project management within manufacturing or industrial environments, ideally with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale capital projects.

Registration with the Controlled Goods Program is mandatory for any person examining, possessing or transferring controlled goods in Canada. To register with the Controlled Goods Program, you must have citizenship or permanent residency.

The following are required:

Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
Ability and willingness to travel as required to various project and vendor locations
The following skills and experience will be strong attributes:

Proven experience managing greenfield facility builds or similar large-scale construction projects
Strong understanding of construction management, process design, and manufacturing operations
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple contractors and cross-functional teams
Proficiency in project budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
Knowledge of regulatory, safety, and environmental compliance requirements
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills
Advanced degree and/or PMP certification (assets)
Commitment to continuous improvement and best practice project delivery
