Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Alberta

Locations: Across Alberta
Employment Type: Full-time or Contract

About the Opportunity

We are seeking skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to join collaborative healthcare teams across Alberta. These roles are ideal for experienced NPs who are passionate about patient-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional growth.

Opportunities are available across primary care and specialty practice areas, with involvement in clinical care, education, research, and leadership activities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients across the lifespan
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, holistic care
Participate in program development, research, and academic or educational initiatives
Support recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of new clinical team members
Offer mentorship and coaching to nursing and interprofessional colleagues
Assist in schedule management, clinical coordination, and administrative support for medical directors or leadership teams
Engage in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner designation
Registration (or eligibility) with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA)
3–5 years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred (primary care experience is an asset)
ACLS and BLS certification strongly preferred
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and prescribing skills
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
