They must ensure a safe, healthy, and inspiring work environment for their team and uphold the overall store culture by ensuring all staff embody Lolë’s core values and principles. The Store Manager is also accountable for achieving sales, operational, and community objectives while leading a highly motivated team. They will supervise, coach, and inspire their team to reach their full potential and meet both personal and professional goals. *This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week at our Banff store* *Accommodation is not provided by employer* Main Responsibilities Customer Service Maintain a high level of customer service focused on personalized experiences. Manage customer development for the store and the brand: follow up on client needs, inquiries, and sales opportunities. Lead and assist sales associates in resolving customer service issues (returns, complaints, etc.). Empower associates to make decisions that best support outstanding customer service. Sales & Key Performance Indicators Achieve the company’s established sales objectives. Recruit, train, and empower store staff. Continuously motivate the sales team to reach goals and perform to the best of their abilities. Demonstrate strong sales leadership by actively participating on the sales floor and leading by example. Operations Ensure efficient use of the POS system and inventory management functions. Actively communicate with retail operation team to ensure proper assortment and inventory levels that drive sales success. Submit comprehensive weekly quantitative and qualitative reports to the supervisor. Manage payroll efficiently through effective scheduling based on team performance. Maintain strong communication with corporate teams and other store locations. Organize and manage all administrative documentation necessary for store operations. Complete full training on POS systems and ensure staff competency. Manage inventory control and loss prevention (internal, external, and administrative). Oversee all receiving, transfer, and shipping operations. Carry out other projects as required. Visual Merchandising Implement and maintain visual merchandising guidelines provided by head office. Identify and suggest strategic merchandising adjustments to improve customer experience and store sales. Human Resources Build a high-performing team: recruit, prepare, and train future leaders by identifying top potential candidates for various roles. Adapt quickly to change and guide the team through transitions. Foster a positive work environment that promotes excellence, engagement, and pride in working for Lolë. Motivate team members by conducting quarterly one-on-one meetings focused on development and career growth to ensure continuity for Lolë in the region. Use company tools to address performance issues (warnings, improvement plans, terminations, etc.). Experience & Skills 2–3+ years of experience in retail management or other relevant fields. Proven success in driving sales, interpreting data, managing labor budgets, and controlling expenses. Strong retail management skills, including sales leadership, inventory control, operational excellence, and culture building. Proficiency with core software and technology (POS systems, Microsoft Office, Apple products). Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask, adapt to change, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Sound judgment and flexibility in ambiguous or high-pressure situations. Specific Requirements Full-time flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical mobility, including standing for extended periods, bending, climbing ladders, and moving fixtures or boxes.
