Full job description
The Banff Child Care Centre is looking for a caring, enthusiastic Child Care Worker to join our team! You’ll help create a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about early learning whether you’re already certified or just starting your journey. With free Level 1 certification available this is a great opportunity to begin or advance your career in early childhood education while working in the heart of beautiful Banff National Park.

What You’ll Do

Engage children in play-based learning that supports physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth

Promote positive guidance, cooperation, and self-help skills

Supervise children at all times to ensure safety and well-being

Collaborate with coworkers to plan activities, maintain routines, and meet licensing standards

Requirements :
Minimum Level 1 or willingness to complete your Level 1 for free while working (Alberta funding available)

Infant/Child First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)

Recent RCMP Vulnerable Sector Check

Communicate openly and professionally with families and colleagues
