Opportunity: Industrial Overhead Door Service Technician

Schedule: 7 Days on 7 Days off

Travel Allowance: Flights from Edmonton or Calgary

Accommodations: Camp Accommodations/ Meals

Job Location: Fort McMurray Region

Opportunity Description:

The successful candidate will provide assistance to our maintenance crew.

Install overhead doors.
Diagnose problems, provide solutions, and carry out required work on overhead doors
Preform PM’s on a variety of different sized overhead doors in an industrial setting.
Communicate with the supervision on problem solving and required parts
Support other trades, as assigned
Skills &Experience:

Experience installing and servicing overhead doors
Customer focused, with strong work ethic
Team player with positive attitude
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable with heights (ladders & lifts)
Strong safety mindset
Experience servicing/installing overhead doors is strongly preferred
Experience in related trades or construction
CDI Certification is an asset but not a requirement
Experience in servicing Mega Doors and previous Oil Sand experience preferred.
Electrician with mechanical background considered
Qualifications:

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean drivers abstract
CSO certificate is required
Valid Energy Safety Canada accredited Elevated Work Platform, Confined Space and Fall Protection
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work outside in all different weather conditions, including cold and extreme heat. Lifting, pulling, climbing, standing, sitting, lying down, squatting and kneeling and managing equipment and tools required
Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements including drug, alcohol and health assessment
