BOXX Modular (Canada) rents, leases and sells temporary and permanent modular buildings, including standard buildings ready for immediate delivery and custom-designed solutions. We work with our customers to design and deliver customized solutions, and provide additional services such as delivery and installation, furniture rentals and other add-ons. We work with customers in many different industries including construction, commercial, infrastructure, institutional, government, industrial, oil and gas, mining, utilities, disaster relief, healthcare, engineering and special events.

We are seeking a driven Sales Representative to join our team, working closely with our Branch Manager. The Sales Representative will develop and foster sales leads, develop new customer relationships, and provide stellar customer support while showcasing our product line.

We have a permanent position for a Sales Representative in Calgary Branch office (office located in Frontier Crescent, Rockyview County, AB)

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Sales Representative will work cooperatively with other members of the BOXX Modular team. The Sales Representative is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding established sales goals and targets to increase revenue and profit for their operating division and the company. They are also responsible for the general management and maximization of margin percentage, for all their accounts within a defined geographic region.

The ideal candidate would have 5+ years of proven success in selling to a variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction, education, energy, and government/military. Experience in modular rentals would be a strong asset. The successful Sales Representative has experience working in Business-to-Business industrial environment, with strong organizational skills.

This is an inoffice role with 20% flexibility to work from home.

Responsibilities:

Identify, call on and build strong relationships with key customers in construction, energy, education, mining, government, military, healthcare, etc. to position BOXX Modular as a preferred vendor;

Actively research and identify new business to solicit by scanning industry journals or reports, networking, cold calls and other means to meet or exceed sales targets;

Build and demonstrate product knowledge of BOXX Modular’s products and key competitive product lines to effectively position products. Use this product knowledge to provide technical sales and service support to customers within the territory;

Respond, evaluate, document and resolve all product inquiries and issues in a timely manner;

Obtain proper approval for sales and rental contracts;

Prepare quotations and contracts that are competitive and satisfy the client’s requirements, while adhering to the Company’s pricing, credit, and payment policies;

Provide timely, written and oral communications on competitive activities, market conditions, and competitor activities;

Track and communicate sales and rentals relative to target to Branch Manager, including: maintaining up-to-date profiles of key customers, sales and rental contract documentation into Salesforce CRM;

Complete daily sales paperwork, contract documentation, and maintaining proper files on all leads and projects

Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints

Follow up on collection of payment from customers, if required from A/R team

Manage, track and submit operational and business development expenditures to Branch Manager in a timely fashion;

Attend, participate in and promote Black Diamond Group products at local trade shows and industry and customer events ensuring key influencers are informed about BOXX Modular product offerings;

Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales or marketing or a relevant related field is an asset, a combination of education and/or proven sales experience will be considered,

3+ years selling to the following industries: manufacturing, construction, education, energy, government/military sales experience is required;

Rental sales experience a strong asset;

Strong full cycle sales development skills (deals can range from 1 week to 1+ year in duration);

Experience in the Modular Structures industry is a strong asset;

Proven success in developing sales funnels and relationship building;

Thrives in a growing, changing, and dynamic work environment;

Strong communication skills - written, verbal and listening, to maximize results external customers;

Demonstrate proactivity, flexibility, business acumen, and self-direction;

Technical competency and proficiency in Microsoft office and CRM software (Salesforce);

Demonstrable skills in organization, problem solving, flexibility, ability to multi-task, and self-direction;

Technical competency and proficiency in Microsoft office and CRM software (SALESFORCE) is an asset;

Valid vehicle operator’s license is a requirement.
