Overview:

We are currently accepting applications to support multiple projects with our clients across Western Canada.

Rotation: Project dependent, most commonly 14/7 or 21/7
Shift: 12 Hours (Days and Nights)
Travel: Project Dependent - Flights via approved travel hubs (where applicable) OR Drive in / Drive out
Lodging: Accommodations provided

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Successful completion of Alcohol, Drug and Fit to Work Screening
Worker to provide:
Valid Safety Training tickets
CSO / BSO / CSTS-09/ OSSA Regional
Intermediate First Aid with CPR & AED
H2S Alive
Bear Awareness (In-Class)
Valid Driver’s License & 3 year abstract with 3 or less infractions
CSA Approved safety boots - minimum 6" high & fully laceable.
Willingness to travel within Canada if required.

All Morgan Field Based Workers and Equipment Operators must:

Be physically conditioned to repetitively and safely lift up to 50lbs.
Work a rotational schedule, 12 hours a day, for both day or night shifts as required.
Expect to handle noise and vibrations on the job.
Be prepared for and willing to perform additional labour duties as / when required.
Embrace the elements by working outdoors in all weather conditions. Whether it's rain, shine, or snow, you'll need to thrive in diverse weather environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the Project Manager in the planning, management and execution of assigned projects for Time and Material, Unit Price, or Lump Sum construction projects with the objective of enhancing and delivering excellence on all elements related to the project, including but not limited to:
Profitability, productivity, efficiency, schedule, safety, local inclusion, equipment utilization, and client management.
Assist with the establishment and administration of performance measurement systems to meet client service and contract expectations.
Assist with contract administration, including change order management, dispute resolution, contract review, annual contract performance evaluations, and quarterly contract review stewardships.
Work closely with site superintendents and their field supervisors to achieve project goals.
Ensure that all company and subcontractor relationships and operations meet any applicable industry and regulatory standards while ensuring all gaps are closed in relation to risk reduction plans.
Identify and coordinate projects and production to ensure maximum resource utilization and adherence to budget and schedule.
Assist with the application of corporate quality system including Requests for Information.
Resolve issues as they arise with internal and external clients while maintaining positive working relationships.
Champion our safety culture by adhering to Morgan's Safe Work Procedures and PPE policies.
Maintain awareness of the surrounding environment and potential hazards, such as other equipment or personnel.
Demonstrate exceptional judgement and problem solving skills.
Demonstrating versatility in collaborating effectively with team members and independently taking ownerships of tasks.
Operate 2-way radio
Other duties as / when assigned

Experience / Qualification Requirements:
Recent experience on heavy civil earthworks, construction, road building or mining project sites is strongly preferred.
Post-Secondary technical training. Experience in the civil construction industry is a strong asset
Intermediate skills in MS Office, MS Project, or similar software programs.
Ability to form strong working relationships with diverse groups of people, including company employees at all levels, clients, and stakeholders.
Team Player with the desire to grow into a strong leader in the heavy civil construction industry
Ability to successfully manage heavy workloads with multiple priorities.
