Description:
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, standards, and quality control within the retail operation. The role will assist the Retail Assistant Director and Director with week to date, period to date, and year to date on-hand levels, and develop action plans to drive top line sales. They play a critical role in supporting both front and back of house operations to ensure a seamless guest experience. This role will assist with monitoring demand and analyze data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
Other responsibilities include ensuring the product received is inputted properly, tasking and overseeing the inventory team to complete replenishment tasks, and ensuring invoicing is completed effectively and timely. They also are responsible for management and organization of storages areas around the resort. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders, such as the Assistant Inventory Supervisor, Retail Director, Assistant Director, Visual Merchandiser, Ecommerce Specialist, and Key Leaders, to optimize day-to-day operations and enhance the overall guest experience.

Job Functions:
Manage inventory operations across all resort retail store locations and stockrooms.
Oversee product delivery logistics and tracking.
Contribute to manual product receiving for quality assurance.
Communicate inventory analytics to meet business goals and address issues with upper management.
Assist with stock replenishment and anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
Complete inventory counts on a monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual basis.
Assist with product warranty quality control procedures.
Submit invoices for payment by the purchasing team.
Lead communications with logistic departments and manage the entire receiving process from start to finish.
Ensure accuracy in inventory levels, costs, and margins.
Maintain stockroom and backroom standards, including cleanliness and organization.
Conduct monthly audits to verify system accuracy.
Manage the warranty/defect reporting system and handle internal product orders.
Assist with reporting and analysis of on-hand inventory levels to drive sales.
Provide weekly replenishment and out-of-stock reports to support restocking efforts.
Lead communications with logistic departments for ecommerce inventory logistics.
Manage the entire ecommerce inventory process, including inventory receiving, integration, order fulfillment, tracking, and shipping logistics.
Other tasks/duties that are required by the Retail Director or Assistant Director.

Experience/Requirements
Minimum one year’s work experience in retail inventory/warehouse coordination, or an equivalent logistics or management role.
Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills , and highly organised,
Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Data Analysis skills.
Ability to multi-task, coordinate ongoing projects, and manage people effectively.
Works well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm for Sunshine Village, Snowsports and people.
The role should be prepared to work early morning and late-night hours, as well as weekends and holidays.
This role will be required to participate in inventory counts, which may take place out of gondola hours.
Additional Considerations
Employees must always be of sound mind, exhibit good judgment, and report to work fit for duty.
This position at times requires the ability to switch between seated office work and active engagement through the facilities. Constant motion, rotation, occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling of retail items, and a good level of physical fitness is required.
Required indoor uniform pieces are provided. Everyone working at the Ski Area must be prepared and wear appropriate footwear, gloves, layers, etc. for the conditions and for their role.
This position at times works alone, handles cash, and personal information.
This role is subject to all terms and conditions of the Employee Handbook, the HR Policy Manual, and the Alberta Employment Standards Code.

Schedule: Monday to Friday.
Location: Banff and Calgary. Travel required between the Resort in Banff and the office in Calgary.
