Full job description
Overview
Assist in all areas of operations to help ensure effective delivery of our tours and transfer services.

More specifically this is a hands on role to help the upkeep and oversight of all transfer and guiding operations completed by Discover Banff Tours

From general assistance with the day to day operations, to helping out with dispatching, to the oversight of our detailing department; this management level role will position you in all facets of the company.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily running of operations in absence of the Operations Manager
- Manage the inventory and equipment in our guides room and detailing bay, this includes monitoring and ordering consumables to avoid interruptions in services
- Observe and give feedback on performance of team members
-Assist with resource scheduling
- Assist with dispatching
- Monitor and maintain licensing and paperwork in the vehicles
- Assist with operational emergencies as they arise

Experience
- Previous knowledge of the tourism/ transfer industry
- Familiarity driving commercial vehicles (up to 24 passengers)
- Experience in dispatching or resource management a bonus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to interact with team members effectively.
- Ability to work in a constantly changing environment a must

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
