PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all public areas, guest rooms, and staff areas are maintained to high standards, providing quality service for guests and a safe working environment for staff.

Maintenance Manager/Maintenance Assistant Manager

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assign daily maintenance tasks to staff, ensuring completion in line with health and safety regulations and maintenance management standards.
Monitor and report on the progress of maintenance duties and projects.
Assist in general maintenance, repairs, and renovations as required.
Handle repairs and maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, heating/cooling systems, and furniture repairs.
Conduct and record routine checks of boilers, sewage treatment plants, generators, hot tubs, water treatment stations, and other key systems.
Report equipment damage or malfunctions to the maintenance management team.
Perform snow removal and ensure ice-free sidewalks and stairs.
Maintain a clean and tidy work environment in all guest and staff areas.
Carry out regular security checks and address guest room disturbances.
Ensure effective shift-to-shift communication for seamless maintenance operations.
Adhere to CRMR Employee Handbook and grooming policies.
Complete administrative paperwork and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Participate in emergency procedures as necessary.
Undertake additional duties as assigned by the maintenance management team.
EXPERIENCE

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred experience in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Familiarity with operating firefighting systems and safe chemical handling.
Proficiency in using power equipment and performing basic hotel maintenance.
Commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and shift patterns.
Independent working ability and calmness in emergencies.
Physical ability to perform tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting up to 80 pounds.
