Duties and Responsibilities Ensure all staff on the floor are meeting and exceeding Rimrock standards of guest satisfaction and service Provide leadership, problem solving and decision making in all areas Provide ongoing training, motivating, and monitoring of staff Achieve and/or exceed sales projections Regular communication with Supervisors and Captains Monitor cost of outlets within approved budget Creation of schedule within payroll budget Conduct employee performance reviews Provide discipline when necessary and complete required documentation Interview/ Hiring new employees Handle guest requests and complaints and authorize compensation when necessary Maintain and establish relations with internal and external suppliers and representatives POS upkeep and programming Attend weekly department Manager meetings Completion of all office duties and meeting deadlines Menu and function planning Provide floor support when business levels require including expediting food, preparing and serving beverages, conducting quality checks etc. Adhere to and enforce organizational policies and proceduresActively contribute to a positive and motivating work place Physical Demands Requires significant walking and standing Frequent lifting and carrying up to 11 pounds / 5 kg Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22 pounds / 10 kg Occasional sitting and use of a computer Qualifications Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent Post-secondary education in Hospitality/Tourism is an asset Alberta ProServe Certification 2-3 years of managerial experience Knowledgeable in a variety of liquor and wines Ability to multitask and prioritize Strong communication and interpersonal skills Competent in Micros POS and Open Table software Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to remain composed while working in a fast-paced environment Creative problem solving skills Thank you for your interest in joining our team!
