Rate of Pay: Starting at $17.25 per hour. Full rate after one year is $21.61 per hour.

What you will be doing:

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Greet, check in and settle guest accounts while ensuring all service standards are followed
Document all guest requests, complaints or issues immediately and notify designated department/personnel for resolving the situation. Follow up to ensure completion and guest satisfaction
Conduct Night Audit Procedures
Assist in monitoring the switchboard phone line and answering calls/responding via other communication platforms
Responsible for maintaining personal cash float used to assist guest with transactions and currency exchange
Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
Respond to each Guest who approaches the Reception Desk
Drive rate through up-selling room brands
Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:

Previous experience as Night Audit or Front Desk Reception Agent an asset
Previous Property Management System (PMS) experience an asset
Proficient in the English language (verbal & written), second language an asset
Must display strong communication, analytical, organizational and administrative skills to be able to deal with multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Must be able to stand throughout shift while typing and talking on the phone
