This hands-on role includes loading, unloading, transporting waste and recyclables, shipping food & beverage to remote on- and off-site locations, moving items in and out of storage, and completing daily vehicle checks. If you're reliable, have excellent time-management skills, and are ready for a physically active role, this is a great opportunity to support our operations and sustainability efforts. Starting Rate: $20.58 We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $24.90. Job Duties Include: Safely transport food, equipment, and supplies across the property, including loading, unloading, and delivering to remote service locations. Maintain delivery vehicles, loading docks, and work areas through regular cleaning, inspections, and prompt reporting of damages or concerns. Support all departments with special deliveries, waste removal, and recycling in accordance with hotel and Town of Banff regulations. Uphold health, safety, and Fairmont operational standards, including grooming, hygiene, and food safety requirements. Communicate effectively with management and other departments, completing deep-cleaning tasks and additional duties as assigned. Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): Constant standing and walking throughout an 8-hour shift Physically fit and able to work well under pressure Able to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50+ lbs Able to bend, twist, climb, sit, and kneel comfortably Reaching above and below shoulder level Working in loud environments, with exposure to hot, humid, and cold conditions, as well as dust, chemicals, fumes, and contact of water.
