Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Line Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results
Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal service during busy hours
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Follow sanitation procedures and uphold health standards at all times
Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Knowledge of serving etiquette and customer service principles is a plus
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
