Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Person to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring access points, observing activity, and assisting visitors. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming atmosphere in a dynamic setting, utilizing skills in surveillance, loss prevention, and law enforcement procedures.

Duties

Monitor entrances and exits to control access and verify credentials of visitors and staff
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or suspicious activity
Utilize CCTV systems to observe and record activities within the facility for security purposes
Enforce policies related to loss prevention by preventing unauthorized access or theft
Assist visitors with directions and provide excellent customer service while maintaining security protocols
Report any incidents or security breaches promptly to management or law enforcement authorities as necessary
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes
Requirements

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is highly desirable
Knowledge of CCTV operation and surveillance techniques
Strong observational skills with attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Excellent communication skills and a courteous demeanor
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform patrols across large areas
Must be reliable, discreet, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and safety standards
Must be able to pass background checks as required for security positions
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.63-$25.28 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
