Starting Pay Rate: $16.60 per hour


Job Description

To welcome guests and create a comfortable, relaxing, and safe experience for all visitors receiving a treatment at the Spa, using our pool and fitness facilities, or enjoying a fire on our outdoor patio.

Duties and Responsibilities

Opening and closing of Spa & Fitness facility
Greeting and welcoming all guests that enter the facility and conducting tours if requested
Maintaining order and cleanliness of the entire Spa & Fitness facility including lobby, waiting area, pool, gym, change rooms, washrooms, workspace, and outdoor patio area with skating rink and fire pits.
Assist with inventory control and laundry needs, including folding and stocking towels.
While working at Spa Reception, warmly greeting guests; being knowledgeable of spa products and services; accurately processing bookings and making reservations; reconciling sales and completing cash-outs
Verify guest reservations and monitor pool, gym and fitness area use; ensure pool, hot tub and pool deck is safely maintained (may include mopping wet areas); being knowledgeable of how to operate the cardio equipment; continual cleaning and disinfecting of equipment, change rooms and washrooms as per health and safety protocols
Assist therapists as required
Other associated duties as assigned

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of customer service or retail experience
Customer service oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work effectively in a team environment and independently
Able to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Keen attention to detail
Cash handling skills
CPR and 1st Aid training an asset
