Position Overview:

The Spa Manager at The Post Hotel is responsible for providing daily leadership of the reception and reservation operations focusing on the consistent delivery of luxury and service excellence. The Spa Manager oversees all aspects of spa operations, ensuring a harmonious blend of curated treatments, superior guest service, and an environment of relaxation and rejuvenation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Proven experience within a luxury Spa brand or Relais Chateau
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Spa, ensuring smooth functioning and exceptional guest experiences.
Manage spa scheduling, appointments, and staff allocation to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction
Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
Ensures the success of an establishment by training adequate staff members to deliver spa services.
Set employee schedules, ensure that employees receive ongoing training and hold staff meetings as required to keep employees updated on spa procedures and policies.
Manage budget to the operations - meet financial goals, review costs for spa procedures and services, oversee labour costs.
Meet sanitation guidelines as per Alberta Health Services, ensuring facilities are properly cleaned and that all equipment is in working order.
Customer satisfaction, interacting with clients to get feedback about services and facility cleanliness, handle customer complaints promptly and create customer service tools such as comment cards and surveys.
Ensure all guests receive personalized and attentive service, creating an inviting and memorable experience.
Lead and inspire a team of massage therapists, aestheticians, and support staff.
Conduct regular staff meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages growth and skill development.
Stay informed about current industry trends, products, and techniques to enhance the spa's offerings.
Manage inventory of spa products, equipment, and supplies.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure availability of quality spa products.
Optimize revenue through effective pricing strategies and package offerings.
Implement and maintain health and safety protocols for staff and guests.
Qualifications:

5 years’ experience in spa management or a related field.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Passion for providing exceptional guest service.
Proficiency in spa software and scheduling systems.
Knowledge of spa treatments, products, and industry trends.
Knowledge of Relais & Chateau standards is an asset.
RMT or Aesthetician license is an asset.
