What will be your daily pursuit?:
Supervise standards of service and performance of Open Top Touring located within the Brewster Transportation Centre (depot). Leading by example, fostering a positive working environment, ensuring all staff maintain up-to-date knowledge, follow consistent policies and procedures, and ensure each guest receives an exceptional experience.

What will you do in this job?:
Assist with the management and upholding of Pursuit’s Hospitality Standards at the Brewster Transportation Centre (Depot), with a primary focus of Open Top Touring.
Lead by example to create a positive work environment, ensuring staff follow policies and deliver excellent guest experiences.
Work closely with the Open Top Touring Manager and collaborate with teams from other lines of business within Pursuit to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Assist with recruiting, training, and development of staff alongside the Open Top Touring Manager, including leading training sessions on Brewster and Pursuit products.
Maintain reference guides, scripts, and tools to align with current business expectations, while providing coaching, feedback, and support to ensure team members’ ongoing development and alignment with business goals.
Maintain clear and professional communication with leadership in both Transportation and Pursuit, ensuring concise and effective handover messages and collaboration.
Coordinate daily operations, solve problems, and report issues promptly.
Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked workspaces by ensuring that materials and supplies are up-to-date. Facilitate the team's effective performance by placing orders or communicating supply needs to relevant personnel.
Serve as the escalation point for customer service issues, providing efficient and effective resolution and subsequent follow up and reporting as required.
Maintain and enforce company policies and safety guidelines, ensuring staff compliance through regular training, coaching, retraining, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Execute all work in a safe, professional manner in compliance with Health & Safety and Pursuit’s Always Honest Policy.
Conduct evaluations of team members throughout the season and provide feedback.
Coordinate with Dispatch and Compound for vehicle usage and maintenance.
Assist with cash handling and daily reconciliations, providing support where required.
Promote a positive team environment through well-being checks, recognition, and team-building activities. Recognize achievements through innovative ways of rewarding staff, aside from Peak
Work varied shifts to support different departments within Transportation and maintain a presence at all operating locations. Scheduled for on-call support as required.
Work independently with accountability, manage tasks effectively while upholding responsibility for meeting deadlines and achieving results.
Collaborate with other leaders to ensure that teams are striving to meet targets and help with the implementation of promotional items.
Responsible for ensuring all team members understand Pursuit company values and the Open Top Touring, Brewster and Pursuit Adventure Centre brands.
Participate in additional training when offered.
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
Alberta Class 4 Drivers License, or willingness to obtain
Experience in commercial driving an asset, but not required.
Strong customer focus providing friendly, professional, and efficient
Passion for employee and guest safety.
Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrate high levels of positive energy and a willingness to take on new
Attention to detail and good communication and listening skills.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Physical demands include constant use of hands, repetitive actions and speaking, sitting/standing for long periods of time, frequent bending/twisting, working outdoors, and may lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Actively contribute to motivating and leading a team of up to 40 people.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as required.
