Job Description Fairmont Banff Springs is looking for an energetic individual to assist in the delivery of our Resort Activities program through both the Youth Activities & the Outdoor Recreation Centre. Resort Activities Animators should have a wide variety of talents but above all should have excellent customer service skills and a willingness to learn. Starting Rate: $20.55 We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $23.69. Job Duties Include: Facilitate and present small and large scale activities independently or with other Resort Activities Animators, as needed in a youth, family and /or adult environment Assist in the set-up for all facilitated activities and execute clean-up duties upon completion of program, including cleaning and sanitizing of spaces and objects, before, during, and after the facilities open / activity ends. Interact with and supervise all children participating in youth activities programs, ages 3-12 years, by providing a safe environment so children of all ages will enjoy themselves Contribute new activity ideas and assist in the future development of Resort Activities, as well as other programs Assist with the daily operation of the Resort Activities Centre which includes booking rentals and selling products and amenities.
