The Role

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our team of dedicated room attendants, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include organizing employee shifts, providing training, and motivating team members while maintaining the cleanliness of private and public areas. Success in this role requires a solid understanding of sanitation regulations and effective team management.

Your primary goal will be to ensure the seamless operation of our daily housekeeping activities, guaranteeing guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Train room attendants on cleaning tasks
Oversee the housekeeping team
Inspect rooms and common areas for cleanliness
Schedule shifts and arrange replacements in case of absence
Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards
Motivate team members and address any on-the-job issues
Respond to customer complaints and special requests
Monitor and replenish cleaning product stock, including floor cleaner, bleach, and rubber gloves
Participate in large cleaning projects as required
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas
Complete monthly inventory and ordering
About You

Willing to commit to a 12-month employment agreement
Confident, upbeat, and positive attitude
Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar role
Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks
Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment and products
Excellent organizational and team management skills
Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends
Current legal ability to work in Canada for at least 18 months
