Full job description
Buffalo Mountain Lodge located in Banff National Park is hiring for a Line Cook.

Primary Function: To uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen cleanliness, consistently delivering exceptional dishes in line with CRMR standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Follow recipes, portion sizes and presentation guidelines.

· Operate cooking equipment including grills, fryers, ovens.

· Maintain clean workstation, equipment and kitchen areas.

· Comply with all sanitation, safety and hygiene procedures.

· Communicate order changes, shortages or concerns promptly.

· Assist with prep work during slower periods.

· Adhere to grooming standards and kitchen uniform policies.

· Work positively in fast-paced environment

· Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements/Experience:

· Commercial kitchen experience, culinary internship students considered.

· Culinary education is an asset.

· Exceptional efficiency, attention to detail

· Professional team player with problem solving abilities.

· Food safety aware with ability to stand for long periods.

· Available to work variable hours, weekends, holidays.
