Reporting to the General Manager, our Floor Manager will assist with the daily operations of the restaurant. This opportunity is great for someone with prior supervisory experience looking to further their career and find new challenges.

Duties and Responsibilities

Effective interaction to ensure the highest level of service is provided to all restaurant patrons.
Maintain and improve upon current systems, policies and BCP standards in quality of product & service.
Coach, develop & manage the performance of the Restaurant leadership/supervisor team.
Ensure that food & beverage employees are well trained, maintain professional standards of appearance and serve their customers in a prompt, professional, friendly manner.
Effectively handle, investigate and resolve guest concerns in a professional manner to the standard set by BCP.
Lead employees by personal example with a philosophy of work conduct, enthusiasm and personal development that leads to maximum performance and job satisfaction.
Continually promote professional work habits and recognize and reward jobs well done.
Represent BCP in such a manner as to enhance the reputation of the company.
Enforce provincial liquor legislation and requirements.
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed creating a safe work environment is maintained at all times and that all colleagues are committed to working safely.
Aid the team by performing the duties of a server or bartender.

Additional duties may be assigned to help meet guest and business needs.
Skills and Experience

Post-secondary education in the Hospitality / Restaurant Management or equivalent experience a great asset.
Prior supervisory/management experience within a Canadian restaurant operation.
Ability to supervise employees, including motivating, organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
A passion for the hospitality/restaurant industry, eye for detail and commitment to product and guest service excellence.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and effective time management skills.
Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills.
Pro Serve Certification.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
