Our staff accommodation has everything you need and is extremely affordable, one of the cheapest in town, fully furnished with all utilities included. We have a fleet of mountain bikes and all the camping equipment you need to get out and explore even more. You’ll have access to our staff vehicle to access remote trailheads and you’ll get to stay for free at any of our 13 properties in the Canadian Rockies. A trip to Jasper, a getaway in Kananaskis, a city trip to Calgary, we’ve got you and your friends covered, all the way to Whistler B.C. What's in it for you ? What you will be doing as a Maintenance staff Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Staff are the behind-the-scenes support of our operation! As Maintenance Staff, you know the ins and outs of carpentry, painting, and plumbing and are the go-to person for odd jobs and repairs. Ensuring that the overall maintenance of the interior and exterior of the hostel are kept up to standard - includes general repairs, painting, carpentry, some plumbing, caulking, window washing, landscaping… Other duties as assigned, including projects at the Banff National Park Wilderness properties, with potential overnight stays for longer projects. What we are looking for Previous experience operating power tools safely and responsibly. Excellent communication and trouble-shooting skills. You must also have the demonstrated ability to work independently. Valid Canadian driver's license. Must have basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity, carpentry.
