You blend your technical aptitude and expertise with a natural ability to “connect” with each individual you support. As an IT Support Analyst, you are responsible for providing end user and systems/solutions training and support of products and services including network, client/server systems, PC and mobile devices, desktop application software, peripheral devices, and others. Your primary role is one of “help desk” and you will also assist the IT Coordinator on projects and system upgrades, as well as, performing daily administration tasks such as maintenance of user accounts, and email account setup. Working the front lines, you constantly seek ways to improve user experience, and keep the Town competitive, protected and connected. You model the Town of Banff’s employee Values, contributing to exceptional service delivery and performance standards by the IT department. As the successful candidate, you have a degree or technical certificate in computer science, information systems, or related discipline. A minimum two years of work experience has allowed you to acquire strong technical skills, excellent knowledge of IT software, applications, and technology trend. Preferred experience includes Microsoft SharePoint, background in Windows desktop clients and networking.
