Description

Food & Beverage Manager provides an outstanding experience for our guests. They are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the outlets by adopting a hand on approach for training, motivating, supervising, and evaluating their team. They ensure that quality service, product, and safety standards are consistently met.

Essential Functions

Provide excellent guest service
Oversee daily operations of staffing, opening, running, and closing of the restaurant
Oversee and train team members in resort systems, POS systems, cash-outs, product knowledge, health and safety procedures
Scheduling staff and completing checks of their time card in Dayforce
Provide coaching and conduct performance evaluations for all team members
Ensure a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with all standards, as well as perform safety audits
Hiring of employees
Manage labour costs to budget
Manage inventory levels and cost of sales
Responsible for management of staffing needs base don business levels
Experience/Requirements
Passion for providing outstanding guest service
Strong wine knowledge
Food and Beverage experience at the management level for 5 years or more
Successful completion of Pro-Serve alcohol service certificate prior to commencement
Previous Squirrel POS systems and cash handling experience
Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and time management skills
WHMIS training is an asset
· Experience with coaching and motivating teams in a remote location is an asset
Able to work both day and evening shifts as required based on business needs
