Position Overview:

As a Host at The Boss, you’re the face of the restaurant. You’ll greet guests warmly, manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, and help set the tone for a seamless, elevated dining experience. We're looking for someone friendly, professional, and proactive – someone who knows how to make people feel welcome and taken care of.


Key Responsibilities:

Greet all guests with warmth and professionalism as they arrive
Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable with accuracy and efficiency
Coordinate seating assignments to ensure smooth flow of service
Assist with answering phones and providing information about the restaurant
Take reservations and take-away orders through the phone and in person
Communicate clearly with servers and management about table status and guest needs
Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area and washrooms
Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly

Qualifications:

Previous host or customer service experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Flexible schedule – mixture of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays required, set availability can be accommodated as well
