Duties and Responsibilities

The duties of the Busser include, but are not limited to the following:


Promptly clear tables of used dishes, utensils, and glassware to maintain a clean and tidy dining environment.


Prepare tables for new guests by setting up linens, utensils, and other dining essentials according to restaurant standards.


Provide friendly and attentive service to guests by promptly refilling water glasses, providing additional utensils or condiments, and addressing any guest requests or concerns.

Assist servers with various tasks, including delivering food and beverages to tables, running food orders, and communicating guest requests to the kitchen.

Regularly sweep and mop floors, wipe down tables and chairs, and ensure all surfaces are free of spills and debris. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.

Work closely with other members of the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth service and uphold high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment, to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Additional duties as assigned by reporting Food & Beverage Manager/Supervisor

Preferred Knowledge/ Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred but not required.


Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical stamina and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift objects and carry a weight of approximately 20 pounds.

Demonstrated knowledge of guest service and a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.
