What will you do in this job?:
Assist in the planning, execution, and teardown of seasonal programs and guest activations, including Bloom & Brunch, Sunset Festival, Mountaintop Christmas, and Nightrise
Deliver engaging, hands-on guest experiences such as arts & crafts, marshmallow roasting, and lawn games
Serve as the on-site contact for third-party contractors, performers, and vendors
Support AV setup and troubleshooting for programming and group events
Maintain and organize all programming assets and storage areas (Banff Gondola, sea cans, and Canmore)
Lead internal communications including the employee newsletter and digital screens (TVs)
Keep calendars updated for on-site vendors, artists, and programming activities
Assist with new hire orientation, sharing key programming information with internal teams
Represent programming in weekly GEM meetings and share relevant updates with non-F&B departments
Provide administrative and planning support to the Programming Manager as needed
Support employee engagement events and Promise to Place (sustainability) initiatives
Assist with 7Shifts scheduling and communication as required
Maintain a Master Calendar for programming and event-related information across departments
Coordinate venue and AV requirements for All Staff Training nights
Coordinate internal staff events on-site
Ensure programming updates and key details are clearly summarized and communicated to all departments
Supporting with the install and tear down of decor

This role involves evening, weekend, and holiday work as part of our 7-day operating schedule.
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
This role will primarily be guest-facing and on the floor, delivering programming and activations, with occasional support in planning and administrative work
Experience in hospitality, tourism, or events
Strong communication skills with a friendly, guest-focused approach
A collaborative, proactive mindset with great problem-solving abilities
Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives with minimal supervision
Adaptable and comfortable navigating change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Familiarity with basic AV systems (training provided)
Physical comfort with lifting upto 50 lbs
A natural storyteller and host who thrives on creating memorable moments
A commitment to guest and team safety
Knowledge of Banff and surrounding areas is an asset
First Aid certification (an asset)
ProServe certification required
Must pass a successful criminal record check
