SkiBig3 is currently recruiting level 3 and 4 CSIA & CASI instructors to join our team for the 25-26 winter. This rewarding opportunity is available from November until Mid-April and consists of a 2 – 6-day work week, and you will be teaching private and group lessons, and our gap-year instructor training program. Our snow school is home to many of Canada’s top instructors who provide premium instruction and/or on-mountain guiding experiences for guests from all over the world. This unique opportunity allows collaboration with snow schools from Banff Sunshine, the Lake Louise Ski Resort and Mt. Norquay, while showcasing close to 8000 acres of breathtaking awe-inspiring ski or rideable terrain to guests. By joining our SkiBig3 team, you will get to take your guests to places they never dreamed they would go. While residing in the breathtaking world heritage site of Banff National Park, which is located in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta on the lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, and the Métis Nation (Region 3), you will have the opportunity to work with a team of like-minded professionals from around the globe and possibly make lifelong friends. Your Role: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Connect with your guests a minimum of 48 hours prior to the lesson start time to arrange a meeting time, resort and location. Instruct, guide, host and advise guests throughout their entire time on-snow during private and group lessons or programs Always conduct yourself in a safe and professional manner Always be on time and well-presented when in uniform Act as a SkiBig3 ambassador Adhere to all policies and regulations at Banff Sunshine Village, the Lake Louise Ski Resort and Mt. Norquay Update your resort status on our Snow School booking system. Achieve guest satisfaction and promote return business Deal with any complaints together with the Manager – People Operations & Snow School What you bring: Level 3 or 4 CSIA/CASI certification Sense of fun with an energetic, positive attitude Safety conscious, mature professional Reliable, organized and well-presented Minimum of two years’ experience of on-snow teaching. Familiarity with Banff and our three resorts an asset Qualifications: CSIA & CASI, Level 3 and above (or equivalent) a must Legally entitled to work in Canada A police background/vulnerable sector check valid within six months of hire date Fluent French and/or Spanish is considered an asset Adaptive teaching certification or previous experience working with Neurodiverse individuals is considered an asset Dual Certified (CSIA/CASI) is considered an asset Compensation & Benefits: Competitive wage based on qualifications and experience CSIA Leadership training and development and course support available SkiBig3 season pass (minimum of 25 lessons fulfilled throughout the season) Access to 12 half-price SkiBig3 lift tickets for friends and family.
