Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shop Technician to join our team at Banff Fire & Safety Ltd. This position will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing fire safety equipment, ensuring that our products meet the highest safety standards. The role is based in Banff, Alberta.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair fire safety equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Assemble and test new equipment according to specifications.
Perform electrical repairs and maintenance on various systems.
Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently as required.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
Requirements

Proven mechanical skills with experience in repair and maintenance of industrial equipment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems related to fire safety equipment.
Ability to assemble complex machinery and perform troubleshooting tasks.
Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is an asset.
Basic welding skills are preferred but not mandatory.
