Job Description

We are currently looking for a customer focused, dynamic sales associate that enjoys fashion and interacting with guests. The position is full-time, on a permanent basis. We are also looking for a part-time candidate who is able to commit to at least 20 hours per week (with the possibility of additional hours during peak times).

Responsibilities

Overseeing the day to day running of the store including opening and closing procedures
Ensuring that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting, acknowledging and re-approaching every customer
Driving sales - offering styling and sizing advice, making suggestions and offering alternatives, maintaining knowledge of all brands, products, and in store promotions, suggestive selling
Use of POS system for cash/debit/credit transactions, refunds and exchanges
Receiving deliveries, unpacking, price labelling and steaming new garments
General daily cleaning and tidying of the store and its contents to a high standard
Replenishing and organizing merchandise, monitoring floor stock and inventory
Merchandising and changing displays/mannequins as directed, maintaining visual merchandising standards throughout the store
Following operating procedures and policies
Being an ambassador for our small local business
Requirements

Customer service experience essential
Retail/sales experience desirable
Excellent spoken and written English proficiency
Outgoing and able to communicate with associates and customers
Friendly disposition and positive attitude
Experience with a POS system is an asset, but not required
Knowledge and passion about the fashion world is a bonus!
Salary: Starting at $17.00/hour + Commission
