Your Role as a Prep/Line Cook:

Execute orders with speed, precision, and rhythm, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
Prepare and cook authentic Mexican dishes to perfection, following our signature recipes and quality standards.
Master timing and coordination to ensure all components of a dish are ready simultaneously and at the correct temperature.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, ingredients, and preparation techniques to assist team members and delight guests.
Champion food safety by adhering to all health and sanitation procedures.
Communicate effectively with all kitchen team members to ensure smooth service flow.
Keep your station clean, organized, and well-stocked with fresh ingredients.
Handle any kitchen challenges with professionalism and contribute to a positive atmosphere.
What You Bring to the Table (Qualifications):

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Prep Cook or Line Cook in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen.
Culinary Skills: Solid understanding of basic and advanced cooking techniques, expert knife skills, and thorough knowledge of food safety protocols (Food Handler Certification is a strong asset).
Passion for Mexican Cuisine: Genuine enthusiasm for Mexican flavours and a desire to learn and contribute to Añejo’s culinary vision.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous in food preparation, plating, and maintaining consistency.
Team Player: Reliable, collaborative, and eager to support your colleagues in a high-energy environment.
Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including day shifts, night shifts, weekends (every weekend required), and holidays.
Reliability: Ability to reliably commute to our Banff, AB location.
