Analog was founded with the view that every cup of coffee poured should be something special, and that ‘good enough’, is never good enough. The first Analog was opened in 2011 at the Calgary Farmers Market, followed by the 17th Ave location right in heart of the Calgary's beltline in 2012. Our community (and cafés) have only continued to grow from there, expanding to new cities in western Canada.

We are looking for a Cafe Manager to lead the team at the soon to open Banff location! You are a great fit if you have:

· A love of coffee and café culture

· 2+ years in retail, hospitality, or equivalent experience with continued growing of leadership roles and conflict resolution skills. Café experience is an asset

· 3+ years working in a team environment.

· Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work efficiently, multi-task and learn quickly.

· Ability to lead team through influencing others.

· Willing to learn and adapt to changes as new procedures and policies are implemented and enthusiastically influence team members through changes.

· Availability to work weekends.

· Knowledge of Microsoft office suit.

· Minimum high school education.

Management duties include:

· Providing exceptional customer service to guests by upholding Analog guiding principles.

· Growing business by providing the best customer service to each guest from the first time they come in.

· Making a genuine effort to get to know guest by name and drink order, welcoming them each time they visit the café.

· Informing and educating staff on all product roll outs

· Demonstrating a keen interest to responsibly represent the Analog brand in and outside of the café

· Carrying out plans to meet sales, profit, and cost targets.

· Ensuring inventory is properly received, invoices processed, and all team members are trained on the proper handling of products.

· Ensuring the café and its equipment is clean, safe, and well maintained complying to all legal, regulatory and Analog requirements. Damage and maintenance issues should be dealt with in a timely manner.

· Monitoring sales and café requirements, Scheduling and adjusting staff schedule to meet daily café needs.

· Ensuring café team members are adequately trained in all areas and strong customer service and drink quality standards are maintained.

· Supervising team members and ensure all people are in the best spots during peak sale times.

· Coaching team members on compliance of standards

· Identifying high performing staff and promoting within the company

· Identifying and resolving team conflicts and issues.

· Striving for continuous learning in all staff members.

· Getting a food safe handling certificate

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
