Full job description
Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Retail team

Schedule retail PK’s and create solid training documents for on-boarding of new staff with consistent review
Set and monitor sales targets for floor staff– monthly/daily
Update and maintain accurate product details in POS
Product

Generating sales reports and forecasting buying needs per season
Analyzing inventory and sales data to identify strong and weak sellers and adjusting product offering as needed
Build and maintain retail relationships with current sales reps including research for new brands and products
Sourcing new brands and products based on trends while adhering to brand guidelines
Seeking out new suppliers, vendors and artists
Determining product volume and negotiating discounts
Solving issues with suppliers and logistics
Inventory

Conduct annual inventory counts and random spot checks while working with Accounting to balance.
Strategy

Manage all retail pricing and promotions, working alongside with Marketing and Sales for promotion communication.
Promotional plan around inventory levels and product sell off
Assist in all retail budgeting/planning and review of financials
Working with marketing department to arrange product and lifestyle photo shoots as needed for new merchandise.
Build Visual merchandising strategy surrounding micro-seasons in the destination
E-Comm

Analyze current build, flow and develop robust plan for skibig3 e-commerce.
Identify opportunities within product mix and timing for promotions
Skills & Experience Required:

Organized, efficient, responsible and mature
Creative and innovative to continue to grow retail program
Effective communicator
Prior experience in retail, particularly in roles such as merchandising, inventory management, or sales, is highly beneficial
Background in e-commerce operations an asset
Possess analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and financial reports.
Experience with retail management software and inventory management systems
Familiarity with the SkiBig3 resorts and brand an asset
Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing work environments.
Strong organizational skills: Prioritizes short term and long-term objectives and plans appropriate execution strategies.
