SkiBig3 is currently recruiting for the full-time, year-round position of Adventure Hub Manager to join our team. This position's main function is to be responsible for the successful operation of the SkiBig3 Hub locations in Banff and Canmore. These locations provide a central distribution point for the fulfillment of rentals, pass products and lift tickets, as well as a one stop shop for destination merchandise and accessories. This role will oversee and ensure that the daily operations of the locations and the guest services levels are maintained, liaising with resort guest services teams, internal departments and external suppliers and vendors to do so.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Oversee assistant managers and supervisor duties that will also assist in the below duties
Organize and maintain training and product knowledge resources for retail, rental and guest services
Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure efficiency.
Understand retail plan and strategy, working closely with Buyer and Merchandiser to ensure clarity around floor staff and retail sales expectations
Have an in-depth understanding of all Hub and resort systems and products including multi-mountain pass programs
Manage payroll, oversee scheduling and team member performance including guest service staff hiring in alignment with the Reservations Manager
Address and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
Ensure delegated tasks are well communicated to maintain clarity of responsibilities within locations and departments
Manage maintenance and security along with landlords – main point of contact.
Ensure stores fulfill all legal health and safety guidelines
Liaise with People Operations to ensure any staff disciplinary measures are appropriately managed and documented.
Participate in departmental budgeting/planning and review of financials
Participate in development of all rental pricing and rates for upcoming seasons
Develop yearly strategies for both locations for continued growth and departmental efficiencies
Plan and implement seasonal flip of Banff location and seasonal operation of Canmore location
Organize rental training and certifications
Analyze rental reports, tracking and usage
Support sales department with group rental coordination and fulfillment - organizing remote rental fittings and the planning/execution of this as needed
Track and process all rental buys and bulk equipment sell off
Implementing equipment maintenance agreements/tuning contracts
Equipment inventory review and warranty issues
Damaged, missing and lost equipment processing
Rental flow and delivery procedure reviews
Oversee vehicle fleet maintenance
Storage facility organization
Skills & Experience Required:

Organized, efficient, responsible and mature
Effective team leader, possessing a minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role, ideally in the ski and snowboard industry
Exhibit critical thinking and a demonstrated ability to anticipate departmental needs
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills: Prioritizes short term and long-term objectives and plans appropriate execution strategies.
Experience with different POS systems and ability to troubleshoot and repair IT issues
Provide exceptional customer service and ability to resolve problems efficiently
Avid snow sport enthusiast who is familiar with SkiBig3 resorts and mountain conditions.
Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing work environments.
Knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment and ability to adjust and repair skis, boards, bindings and boots.
Knowledge of payroll & staff scheduling
