Reservations Agent
We are seeking a highly energized, organized and professional candidate to join our Room Reservations team at the Castle in the Rockies!
Are you an individual with a high level of attention to detail and have a gregarious personality?
Are you one who is looking to grow your skills in the area of Reservations and Revenue Management, within the hospitality industry, whilst enjoying the breathtaking setting of the Canadian Rockies?


Job Description

What you will be doing:

Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service
Make room reservations, handle internal and external communication for leisure/Group/Tour & FIT segments as assigned within the department.
Efficiently produce and execute daily reports for segments, auditing reservations and updating as needed.
Correspond with guests/clients via email or telephone phone while monitoring Reservations voicemail regularly.
Work closely with Sales, Front Office and Accounting teams to ensure all client expectations are met and/or exceeded.
Assist with duties within other Reservations Segments (Leisure, Tour & FIT & Groups) when required.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

Previous reservations or sales experience is an asset.
Opera Property Manager System (PMS) and Central Reservations System (CRS) experience an asset.
Must display strong communication, analytical, organizational and administrative skills to be able to deal with multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Word, and Excel.
Must be willing to work shifts (including split shifts) and varied days off on occasion and able to sit for long periods.
