The Relais and Chateaux Post Hotel & Spa is looking for a full time/long-term Food & Beverage Manager

Position: Food & Beverage Manager

Position Overview:

The Food & Beverage Manager at Post Hotel & Spa will lead a team of talented professionals and oversee the culinary landscape of our diverse dining establishments, including The Dining Room, Fondue Stübli, Sir Norman Lounge, and The Outpost.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the food and beverage department, including dining establishments, staff, menus, and guest experiences. Develop and execute strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse team of professionals, including servers, bartenders, and support staff. Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with our Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure the highest quality and creativity in our menus. Elevate the guest experience by maintaining the impeccable standards and atmosphere that Post Hotel and Spa is renowned for.
Monitor and manage daily operations to ensure efficient service, adherence to health and safety regulations, and exceptional guest satisfaction. Address any challenges promptly and implement solutions.
Work closely with our sommeliers to create an exceptional wine and beverage program that complements our culinary offerings. Enhance the wine and beverage selection to provide guests with a memorable dining experience. Drive revenue and beverage sales with sommeliers.
Oversee Outpost Pub.
Interact with guests, gather feedback, and anticipate their needs to create personalized and memorable experiences. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and warmth.
Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk, housekeeping, and events, to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional guest experiences throughout their stay.
Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment, preferably in a Food and Beverage Manager role.
Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including culinary trends, wine pairings, and service standards.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Relais & Chateaux standards is an asset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Relevant certifications in hospitality or culinary arts are advantageous
