Conveniently located in the Town of Banff, just steps away from the glacier-fed Bow River, Banff Park Lodge is a full-service Resort Hotel and Conference Centre. The Banff Park Lodge has two sister properties; the Bow View Lodge and the Peaks Hotel & Suites.

We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Painter. Wage negotiable based on experience.

Please submit 2 professional references at time or applying. Please send portfolio, pictures of professional work product if you have them.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

Use and maintain paint sprayer.
Touch-ups throughout hotel as required.
Drywall repairs
Work off ladders, scaffolding, manlifts as required.
Driving truck with painting supplies to and from work sites.
Keep work sites and paint storage areas clean and tidy.
Order paint and materials as required, maintain paint inventory for all properties.
Assist maintenance as required.
Repaint staff apartments and hotel guest rooms as required.
Wallpaper experience would be an asset, but not required.
Work with the maintenance team in a team environment
Other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate:

Must be bondable, Canadian or PR, or valid working holiday visa
Must have excellent interpersonal, communications skills and follow up skills
Experience in preventative maintenance, energy management, fire safety, and health and safety
Must have Alberta Driver’s License or equivalent
Must have Clean drivers abstract.
Computer knowledge required
Other maintenance skills an asset
