What will be your daily pursuit?:
Leading your team to deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a safe, clean, and

Compensation:
The starting wage for this position is $19.50.

What will you do in this job?:
Direct and supervise cleaning staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring work progress, and ensuring
adherence to cleaning schedules.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient cleaning operations, especially during events or
high-traffic periods.
Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with cleaning standards and
protocols.
Train new cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and equipment usage.
Provide ongoing training and coaching to existing staff to maintain high-quality cleaning standards and
enhance productivity.
Identify training needs and opportunities for skill development among team members.Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, always ensuring adequate stock
levels.
Place orders for cleaning supplies as needed, considering budget constraints and consumption rates.
Maintain par stock levels for cleaning supplies.
Conduct regular audits to track usage and minimize wastage of cleaning materials.
Ensure that all Gondola grounds and facilities are kept tidy and clean to provide guests with a high quality experience.
Perform and ensure colleagues complete established daily cleaning tasks for all guest and team
member areas. Such as washrooms, kitchens, eating areas, offices, and common areas.
Ensure daily vacuuming of floors, sweeping, and mopping is completed.
Empty garbage bins and maintain the recycling program on an ongoing basis.
Sweeping or shovel exterior decks, walkways, and parking lot as required.
Work closely with Fly Pigs to ensure the team is adhering to proper recycle practices.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of
hazardous materials.
Promote a culture of safety among cleaning staff, emphasizing the importance of following safety
protocols and using personal protective equipment.
Bring maintenance issues to the attention of the Operations team.
Open and close summit terminal as needed.
Actively participate in Gondola committees
Assisting with evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency.
Answer guest questions regarding the Banff Gondola and surroundings area.
Other duties as assigned.
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
Bring a positive attitude with strong customer service skills.
Detail orientated.
Self-motivated with the ability to perform tasks with minimum supervision.
Possess the physical ability to perform all cleaning tasks in an assigned time
Proven ability to work within strict policy/procedures and guidelines
WHMIS knowledge and cleaning experience an asset
A clean Driver’s License required; Alberta Class 4 License an asset
