Position Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to champion our team and elevate the renowned status of the Banff Aspen Lodge. The General Manager will spearhead all facets of hotel operations, including but not limited to Guest Services, Sales and Marketing, Housekeeping, Kitchen, and the esteemed Whitebark Cafe.

Key Responsibilities:

· Strategic Leadership: Guide and inspire the team towards operational excellence and guest satisfaction.

· Revenue Optimization: Implement innovative strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.

· Team Empowerment: Foster a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and continuous learning among staff members.

· Guest Experience: Ensure unparalleled guest experiences by maintaining high service standards and personalized attention.

· Health and Safety Compliance: Uphold rigorous health and safety protocols to safeguard both guests and employees.

· Community Relations: Cultivate positive relationships within the local community to enhance the hotel's reputation and outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

· Proven track record of at least 5 years in a senior managerial role within the hospitality sector, demonstrating progressively increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.

· Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset to effectively manage day-to-day operations while driving long-term growth.

· Strong financial acumen, with demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to optimize revenue streams and control expenses.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams, inspire employee engagement, and build strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and community stakeholders.

· Proficiency in industry-standard software and technology platforms, including property management systems, revenue management tools, and Microsoft Office suite.

· Knowledge of local regulations, industry standards, and best practices in hospitality management, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of service quality, safety, and compliance.

· A passion for hospitality and a dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences, with a proactive approach to anticipating and exceeding guest expectations and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

· Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the dynamic needs of the hotel operation and ensure outstanding service delivery at all times.
